Facebook to Give 3rd Party Developers, External Sites Access to Users’ Address & Phone Numbers

I don’t like this move Mark Zuckerberg on the plan that Facebook will give 3rd party developers and other external websites an access to your home address as well as users’ phone numbers. It is indeed one cause of concern over privacy matters. I think users’ just have to take the initiative not to post their address or phone numbers for security, privacy and confidentiality.

Facebook did this for three days in January but removed it then they are planning to launch this feature again. I want to know as a Facebook user myself why? But as I said, users can just take off their home address and phone numbers from their info at Facebook. This move is said to encourage users to be more liberal in sharing their data and online activity. But we all know it will also make users prone to various scams even your identity being stolen by scammers out there and there are lots of them we all know that.

Well why not just apply the Facebook diet just like me now. I am using Facebook less now and only when there are events to watch out for.
